The glass material can become dirty very easily and spots are very easily identified by guests. This may give a bad impression of cleaning standards in hotels.
In this Course Module, we will discuss the composition, care and cleaning of glasses. Glasses are used extensively in the hotel industry from facades to cutlery and ceilings to decoration. As professional housekeepers, one has to maintain glasses professionally. Glass is a transparent lustrous, and brittle material, which is made from silica, sand and a mixture of pure fine sand. All ingredients are mixed with soda and other ingredients are called batch which is used for developing the glass. You will be able to learn how to maintain and clean the glass material in hotels professionally and maintain the life of the asset.
